What is DEUX?
DEUX is a plant-based functional foods company. Every one of our vegan products is paired with a “function,” meaning, something good-for-you, like vitamins, supplements, and boosts. We’ve started with desserts by reinventing cookie dough and enhancing with unique functions. Our first three flavors are: Chocolate Chip, Brownie Batter, and Peanut Butter. We now have a line of Dessert Spreads and Donuts, with new flavor drops each month.
Shipping / Delivery
Can you ship to a PO Box or a Military Base?
Unfortunately our shipping provider does not allow us to send to PO Boxes or Military Bases.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
We can cancel your order within 2 hours of placing it, but beyond that, it’s out of our hands and your order will be shipped as is.
How do you ship DEUX? How long does shipping take?
We work to ship out your order within one week, however, due to the nature of our small team, sometimes there can be delays based on order volume. We will work to communicate with you as much as possible if we expect any delays with your shipment. Please refrigerate immediately upon arrival.
My order arrived damaged. Can you help?
Oh no! We’re so sorry. Send us an email with a couple of photos to support@eatdeux.com and we’d be happy to take care of it for you.
Orders
I forgot to apply a promo code to my order. Can I apply it after I submit my order?
We can add a promo code to your order within 2 hours of placing it, but beyond that, it’s out of our hands and your order will be shipped as is.
Can I add an item to my order after it’s been placed?
Missed something great? We can make changes to your order within 2 hours of placing it, but beyond that, it’s out of our hands and your order will be shipped as is. We’ll just send you an invoice via Shopify to complete the payment within 30 minutes and your order will be reconfirmed.
Oops, I made a mistake! Can I change my delivery address / change the items in my order after I place it?
We get it, mistakes happen! If the address is incorrect, please contact us at support@eatdeux.com and we will do our very best to get it updated; however, there isn’t a guarantee we’ll catch the shipment in time. If the order has already processed, we are unable to intercept and edit the address. Going forward, please double-check your shipping address, especially if you have third-party accounts (i.e. Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Paypal), that auto-populate your information. This is where most issues arise. Thanks!
I just realized I am not going to be home when my DEUX arrives! Can I delay the shipment?
Unfortunately no! Once you receive an email that an order has been shipped, we are unable to make any changes to your order timing or delivery.
What if my DEUX doesn't arrive cold?
Don’t worry! Our vegan DEUX can withstand a 2-day transit time, however we recommend refrigerating upon arrival -- just pop it in the fridge when you can.
What do I do when my DEUX arrives?
Please refrigerate immediately upon arrival (trust us, it tastes better cold). You can also pop it in the freezer for 6-8 months of storage.

What ingredients is DEUX made with?
Our cookie DEUX is made with a base of oats, nut butter, vanilla, maple syrup, coconut sugar, water, and flaxseed. Each blend is then enhanced with different ingredients, such as amino acids, pea protein, mushrooms, vitamin D or elderberry to support your mind and body. Finally, we top off flavors with mix-ins, like vegan chocolate chips.
How should I eat DEUX?
We prefer to take bites of our cookie dough straight out of the jar throughout the day. But, if you want to bake, you can roll into balls, flatten, and bake @ 350 degrees F for 8-9 minutes, depending on how gooey you like your cookies. We pair with our favorite plant-based milk or ...wine. See our IG for how-to and other ideas!
What if I have an allergy?
All DEUX products contain no dairy, eggs, or gluten. However, all our products are made with nut butters (almond, cashew, or peanut) and are manufactured in a facility that processes wheat, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and soy.
Is DEUX organic?
Our products are not organic* - we prioritize simple, high-quality ingredients, without added fillers & preservatives. If these ingredients were also organic, our price points and products would be much less accessible and affordable for our customers.
*Our products are made with mostly organic ingredients for Erewhon.
Can I give my kids DEUX?
We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before giving DEUX to children.
Can I consume DEUX while pregnant or breastfeeding?
We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before adding DEUX to your diet.
Is DEUX a low calorie food?
At DEUX, we don’t believe in counting calories. Our products contain real, wholesome ingredients (nothing artificial!) that you can feel good about eating that will leave you feeling satisfied.
What is the nutrition information?
Please refer to the product descriptions of each product for the nutrition facts and ingredient lists.
How long does DEUX last? How should I store it?
Refrigerate your DEUX for up to 12 weeks. You can also freeze DEUX to make it last even longer (up to 6 months) but we recommend that you thaw your DEUX completely in the refrigerator before eating or baking.
Why do some of your products contain cane sugar?
We strive to use the cleanest ingredients possible. We sometimes use ingredients that contain organic cane sugar. Organic cane sugar is less processed and cleaner than conventional sugar.
Are your products kosher?
Our Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Birthday Cake and Brownie Batter cookie doughs are OU Kosher certified!
Can the ingredients in DEUX replace my supplement pill?
We wish! DEUX is meant to be an enhancement/boost to your daily wellness routine. It is not a replacement for any supplements you may be taking.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes, our jars can be recycled, but we prefer to first hand-wash and reuse them a few times. Some ideas include but are not limited to: succulent planters, scrunchie holders, milk (or wine) glasses.
Subscriptions
How do I cancel my subscription?
We’d be happy to help! Just email support@eatdeux.com. Just a heads up, due to the discount associated with a subscription, they cannot be canceled before your third shipment arrives.
Can I swap out the product I subscribed to?
We’d be happy to swap out your subscription product(s) for another DEUX product if you’d like - just email support@eatdeux.com.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes, if you’re traveling or just want a subscription break, just email us at support@eatdeux.com and we'd be happy to pause it for you.
